Support Groups & Individual Counseling

Support groups offer a chance to meet with others to find support and understanding for the challenges of life after loss. Pathways of Hope is the grief support service provided by Hospice of Dayton and Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties to anyone who has lost a loved one. Professionally licensed counselors or social workers lead Pathways of Hope grief support groups. Pre-registration is required. The following groups meet regularly unless the meeting day falls on a holiday.

  • Spouse Loss Groups – Widow and widower grief support groups (open to anyone in the community coping with the loss of a spouse)
  • Parents Who Have Lost an Adult Child – Open to any parent who has experienced the death of an adult child.
  • Adult Children Who Have Lost a Parent – Grief support for adult daughters and sons

For additional information about any of the support groups available through Hospice of Dayton’s Pathways of Hope program or to inquire about individual counseling, call Pathways of Hope at 937-258-4991.
